Division Names

Division 1 and Division 2 are....unoriginal, boring and in need of a name-change. Post your ideas here!

  1. Should each Division get together and propose a name for their division? Then it could be voted into existence.

Division One: the law of Gravity

Division Two: the law of cosines.

    -----------------------------------

Division One: The Groton Fantasy Conference (GFC)

Division Two: The State Fantasty Conderence (SFC)

    I'll come up with more.

I liked how the keeper league used to be set up...Montreuil-Eggleston based:

Montreuil Division: Me, Maria, Scott, Mitch, Steve
Eggleston Division: Kyle, Ryan, Keith, Dave, Mike

the names aren't as cool as Kyle's though...

Some other suggestions I have heard are to name divisions after football people, such as:

    - Previous MVPs
    - Defensive Greats
    - HOFers
    - Legendary coaches

What about a John Madden and Mike Ditka split? Or Chris Berman and Tom Jackson? Lombardi and Butkis? Marino and Elway?

Or Joe Buck and Brett Favre...ok just kidding on that one...

I'm sick of always being in the same division as my family. It's annoying :p

I would be willing to go with some all time greats. I think it would be fun to either do two coaches or a RB and a QB.

So a Lombardi/Brown or Lombardi/Shula then a Montana/Brown or Elway/Sanders. Something like that could be fun.

  6. Ideas:
    From Games:
    Axis Vs. Allies

    From Movies:

    Gallactic Empire Vs. Rebel Alliance
    ie. Imperials/Rebels

    Fellowship Vs. Sauron's Army
    ie. Hobbits(or Elves)/Orcs

I think all are pretty appropriate to this group as a whole!
